So we have to move everything out of the warehouse at work back into the black-mold-infested-leaky-roof-structurally-unstable pink building. And all is going well, got about 1000 boxes of shell from Rich's CL59, which run out of money in 1998 and will probably never get finished, but i digress.
Two days ago we go to move one of the decaying boxes, and what almost falls out of it? Piece of a human cranium. The box contains few derelict brown bags, one has human remains, another has some broken glass, yet another has some pieces of 19th century ceramics. So we bring the box to the lab, and Anne gets all excited that we found some dude bones (skull pieces and some parts of the jaw mostly), yay her :). Ok, so she put him in a padded box, and once he was safely reboxed we named him Sleeps-with-Glass, we put him with the rest of the artifacts he was with, and we put him back in the pink building. He is now the head of the pink building.
Yesterday we are back in the warehouse and the pink building and there is another box with pieces of a human cranium, as well as some human long bones and a deer skull. mixed in with the bones is some broken 19th century ceramics and shards of aboriginal pottery. We put the box, as it was falling apart, in a random trunk that was sitting around in the pink building. So we bring the body in the trunk to the office, to April's dismay and Anne's delight, and leave it in the conference room.
But since we don't have time to deal with the body at this time, and we need to use the conference room tomorrow. So we put the trunk with the skeleton in the closet. We could have put it in the back room, but that wouldn't be as ironic.
Other than that it has been pretty dull here.
